Performance Research has been in the process of transferring its administrative and production base from Dartington College of Arts in Devon to the Centre for Performance Research at the Aberystwyth University in Wales. Our long and productive relationship with Dartington (since the beginnings of the journal in 1996) has finally come to an end, and Dartington College itself, with its outward-looking, radical educational and arts ethos and ways of doing things, which has given rise to so much challenging, absorbing and uplifting work over the last 40 years - work that will continue to define and disturb and resonate with contemporary arts practice - is in the process of moving to become a part of the University of Falmouth in Cornwall.

The Editors would like to thank John Hall, David Williams and many others at Dartington whose strategic interventions have supported the administration of the journal there since 2002. We would especially like to thank Linden Elmhirst - our Administrator from 2002-2007 - without whose patience, organization and calm approach to editorial frustrations and demanding contributors, the day-to-day running of the journal would not have been possible; and not least to thank Kevin Mount whose contributions, single issue and page designs, and re-formatting of the journal in 2004, have played such an important part in establishing the identity and graphic approach of Performance Research. We would also like to acknowledge the typesetting work of John Beck in Scarborough who worked on the journal from 2005-2007.

We would now like to extend our welcome to our new administrator Sandra Laureri  at the Centre for Performance Research in Aberystwyth, who has been gradually taking over from Linden Elmhirst over the last year, and also to Steve Allison at Design Stage in Cardiff who has taken over design and typesetting.
